To maintain discipline and a peaceful academic atmosphere at the college, there is a Proctorial Board comprising the Principal, the vice principal, Ms. Sabeen Ihtesham, and Associate Professor of History Dr. Humaira Masood. Cases of violation of the following rules will be reported to the Proctor Room for appropriate action.

  1. Students are expected to maintain cleanliness in the college campus as well as in the hostel.
  2. Students should not move about or talk in the verandas and corridors so that there would be no disturbance in the classrooms.
  3. Students are not allowed in the administrative offices or staff rooms without permission.
  4. Students must be punctual and regular in:
      • Attendance in lectures/classes.
      • Payment of college fees on time.
      • Submission of issued library books.
      • Taking class tests.
  5. Students are not allowed to see their visitors or bring them into the college during academic hours.
  6. Students are not allowed to leave the college premises during academic hours.
  7. Students are not allowed to celebrate birthday parties during academic hours.
  8. Students must read the notice board daily.
  9. Students should come to the college in proper uniform (pg:54 & 65).
  10. Students are encouraged to participate in the co-curricular activities.
  11. They are not allowed to take pictures or record videos of college functions (academic/non-academic) and college buildings. Legal action can be taken if any student is found violating the said rule.
  12. Students are not allowed to bring cameras, MP3 players, hands-free devices, mobile phones, etc. to the college. Violators will be fined Rs. 1000/-.
  13. Any student who violates the college rules, involves herself in negative activities like strikes, instigates other students for this purpose, or blows crackers will be liable to disciplinary action.
  14. Every staff member has full right to check students for not observing the above-mentioned rules, and any report by the staff members will result in disciplinary action.
  15. No proctor can collect any fine/fund without the presence of duty officers.
  16. The principal’s authority in the college is absolute. She has the power to impose a fine or some other appropriate punishment for a breach of college discipline, rudeness to staff, irregularity, and disorderly behavior. A serious violation of these rules will render the student liable to be rusticated from the college on the recommendation of the Disciplinary Committee.
  17. Note: These rules are meant to cultivate refined behavior in the students and to bring about a proper, disciplined academic atmosphere in the college.

    COLLEGE PROCTORS

  18. College proctors are selected on merit to maintain the college discipline, under the supervision of the Proctorial Board. College proctors, along with faculty officers on duty, are responsible to:

  20. Report violations of college rules.
  21. Maintain college discipline.
